Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings made of resin or other durable materials that are applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars and premolars).

 

  • Children and Teens: Molars begin to appear between the ages of 5 and 7, with a second set coming in between the ages of 11 and 14. It is best to have a sealant treatment when the molars first come in to ensure they are protect
