Helping dentists get a 360-degree view of a patient’s mouth
The panorex is imaging machinery that dentists are using to capture a full view of the upper and lower jaws, teeth, temporomandibular joints, and sinuses. The panorex helps identify issues and structures that a normal X-ray can’t.
The patient sits in a chair with their chin on a small ledge. The panorex rotates around the patient’s entire head while taking a 360-degree view of the teeth, head, sinuses, and bones.
The dentist gains a tremendous amount of information by being able to view the full structure of the head. It allows the dentist to see any potential problems and make sure everything is functioning as it should. The panorex also capable of viewing specific types of structural problems and infections.
